Battlefield 1 looked amazing when EA DICE showed it recently and it looks even better in new concept art images. It literally makes you salivate.
Battlefield 1 is set during World War 1 and this art shows how much attention to the finer details of the setting is given by the developers at EA DICE. Battlefield 1 devs are trying to create the most authentic World War 1 experience possible.
Going back to the root of all warfare is very a gutsy move that thankfully paid off. Meanwhile, competitors Call of Duty played it safe with Infinite Warfare and fell head over heels.
At first EA was worried about how the game might not appeal to younger audience who may not even have an idea what World War 1 was.
World War 1, we were worried that many of the younger consumers out there didn’t know that there was a World War 2 or Vietnam, so World War 1.
World War 1 was primarily based on Trench Warfare but Battlefield 1 is much more than that. According to EA, World War 1 was the first time “ever that people saw light tanks, heavy tanks, armored trucks.”
It is beleived that Battlefield 1 players will take control of different characters during various chapters of the game. Apart from single player campaign, Battlefield 1 will feature the trademark 64 player multiplayer mode.
EA PLAY is being hosted later this month and that event will give us a look at Battlefield’s multiplayer mode. Lots of questions and concerns are present regarding how multiplayer will be handled with its World War 1 setting.
