Latest Mafia 3 Postcard Decoded; Hints At Trouble Brewing in New Bordeaux

Here is the new Mafia 3 postcard deciphered by Hangar 13 itself; check it out and see if you can make something out of it.

We know that the Mafia 3 city New Bordeaux is full of variety and all the good things in New Orleans from the 1960’s; it is also where trouble is brewing all the time, as suggested by the latest Mafia 3 postcard.

Hangar 13 has been teasing the fans with insights into the story and setting of the game with these cryptic postcards that come with a short letter that at first appears to carry random rants. If you look deep enough, it has hidden meanings.

A new postcard was shared a couple of days ago and over the weekend, the developers shared with us a decoded version of the message that the card carries.

While the decoded version of the postcard can be seen above, we have also shared the message below because this way it is easier to read:

L, IF YOU TOLD ME 16 YEARS AGO I’D BE SITTING ON THE SIDELINES WHILE I WATCH SOME MOOKS, PUSHING JUNK, ON THE STREETS. I’D HAVE SAID YOU’RE NUTS. I KNOW I’M NOT SUPPOSED TO GET INVOLVED WITH UNCLES AFFAIRS, BUT THIS IS BULLSHIT. HIM CUTTING ME OUT OF THE ACTION, LOCAL NEWS BEEN SNIFFING AROUND, KEEPING A LID ON IT FOR NOW. VITO.

New Bordeaux, the fictional city within the world of Mafia 3 has a character of its own with deep emphasis on exploration that will lead to new unlockable areas of the map. We can’t wait to see how all these short inlets into the game’s world actually fit into the city.
