Overwatch Cheaters Are Really Getting Plumped Up With The Ban Hammer

Overwatch cheaters have been warned before and then two days ago we started getting first reports of massive permanent bans being made. By now, however, things have escalated pretty fast and the cheaters are really getting served what they deserve.

Panic can be clearly seen among the hacking and cheating community forums where numerous of them are coming up with their experiences.

However, the news at hand is that Blizzard Entertainment is really heeding to its promise of giving no leeway to those who break the rules or affect the gaming experience of others. One example of this recently surfaced online when a guy shared his walk of shame (no I am not alleging that Blizzard is the high sparrow!)

Any how, this guy had bought the game while it was in beta and used a wall hack on it, the anti-cheat program of the game found him just a day after the release and he was banned.

Thinking he could outrun them, the guy bought the game once more, but two days after he started playing again, he was banned even though this time he did not cheat.

You would think he will stop now, but he bought the game again for a third time. Despite taking cautious steps like deleting Overwatch and the launcher, this efforts went in vain and he was banned again.

Just to make sure everyone got the message clearly, he bought a VPN, changed things like hard drive IDs, MAC address, BiosDate etc., vowed not to cheat this time and bought the game for a fourth time. Guess what happened next? He played for a small time and bam! he was banned again.

So I guess Blizzard Entertainment is sending out a clear message that they really are not going to listen to the Overwatch cheaters.
