No Man’s Sky Delay Confirmed, Will Release On August 9
Recently we reported that No Man’s Sky might have been delayed to July or August. Now it is confirmed that the No Man’s Sky delay is indeed true. Now this ambitious space exploration game will be out on August 9.
The announcement comes from the official PlayStation blog where Hello Games founder, Sean Murray, confirmed the news.
As we approached our final deadlines, we realized that some key moments needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards. I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special.
After a short delay, No Man’s Sky will launch in North America on August 9, in Europe August 10, and in the UK August 12.
He further said that it is a disappointing news for the fans, but this game is the hardest thing they have worked on in their life. He said “we are so close now, and we’re prepared to make the tough choices to get it right”
Since its reveal in 2013, No Man’s Sky has been much hyped. Last October it was announced that No Man’s Sky will release in June 2016. In March June 21st release date for the game was confirmed, however, it seems that it’s changed.
Recently an image leaked that was taken from developers meeting by Hello Games. The image shows the dialogue tree for the game, and what it is going to look like.
From the looks of it, the game is going to have an element of alien languages that the player’s character will have to learn in order to fully communicate with other species – which are probably going to be there in large numbers.
