Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies Promise, Can Infinity Ward Live Up To?

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies mode is yet to be revealed and a lot is riding on it. If the devs fail to deliver it could dent the series.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is Infinity Ward’s first attempt at zombies mode. They tried a unique bonus mode in Ghosts which was fun to play but it was no zombies.

Infinity Ward’s been out of form since Modern Warfare series. The studio brought us a mediocre game in 2013 and now its latest, Infinite Warfare, is the second most hated video on YouTube. Fans complain about it being stale, redundant, recycled animations etc.

However, going to space is a decent addition that, for now, is the only enticing feature it has. Infinity Ward can redeem itself to some extent, it still has zombies mode hidden up its sleeves.

The zombies mode is co-op and will have players facing waves of flesh eating monsters.

Additionally, Infinite Warfare will introduce an original cooperative Zombies mode that takes players on a wild ride through a new storyline with unique gameplay features and mechanics. More details about multiplayer and the new zombies experience will be announced at a later date.

Infinity Ward is currently under a lot of pressure to deliver with zombies. Living up to the standards set by the games before Infinite Warfare won’t be easy.

However, the good news is that Infinity Ward could bring fresh never before seen ideas to zombies mode. This is their first attempt and I’m sure they’ll bring some new features to the mix, for their own take on zombies mode.

There is a lot more riding on zombies than many realize. Infinite Warfare’s bashing will exceed all boundaries if Zombies mode fails to appeal. It would further dent the franchise and even though Activision is currently feeling arrogant, saying they don’t care of hate as their pre order numbers are strong, it wouldn’t be long before even the most hardcore fans refuse to spend their cash on COD.
