ECHO The Game is A Project By Ex-Hitman Developers

A group of former Hitman developers at Ultra Ultra are developing ECHO the game, a survival and action based title that has a punishing and cryptic world.

A group of former Hitman developers have decided to hit the streamline with Steam Greenlight for their project ECHO the game, which is basically an action and survival title set in what looks to be a futuristic and fictitious world.

The developers have provided a synopsis of the story which revolves around a girl named En who has been in stasis for exactly a whole century. She is back now, and is trying to bring life back to a place that has not seen a human for eons:

After a century in stasis the girl En arrives at her destination: A Palace out of legend, a marvel of the old civilization eons gone, still awaiting its first human occupants. Out here, using forgotten technologies, she hopes to bring back a life that shouldn’t have been lost. But nothing could have prepared her for what she’ll face in the ancient halls below.

Moving on, ECHO the game is going be a primarily stealth and action focused title that has its roots in discovery and exploration. It is quite a “punishing” game according to the developers that is going to ask you to be very quick in your reactions and decision making in general.

Gameplay revolves around Stealth and Action, as you face off against the strange workings of this place. You might be quick on your feet and quite able to defend yourself, but everything has consequences here. Whatever your strategy, one thing is certain: You must keep your wits about you if you are to survive the Palace.

The studio behind the game is named Ultra Ultra and has a number of developers that have joined in after working with IO Interactive.
