Final Fantasy XV Collector’s Edition Still Not Back to Preorder, Square Enix Apologizes
Square Enix was going to put another 10,000 units of the Final Fantasy XV Collector’s Edition for preorder earlier today, but for some reason all they did was keep the fans waiting on their marks. The Collector’s Edition has still not been made available due to some “technical issues.”
The whole ordeal has pissed off a large number of fans who wished to be among the lucky ones who got an order placed, and as a result, Square Enix Europe took to their Twitter with updates and apologies.
Firstly, Square Enix acknowledged that there were some issues due to which fans have been kept waiting with no preorders being taken. They asked the fans to hold on for some time:
FFXV Collector’s Edition will be up shortly, we are experiencing some technical difficulties this morning. Please bear with us.
This was then followed by another tweet from the developers, with the typical apologies and gratitude while promising that they will keep the fans updated. So yeah, hang in there guys.
Sorry about the issues and thanks for your patience – a Malboro attacked our store! We’ll keep you updated as much as possible.
While the developers have said that “we will be setting a new time as soon as we know when we can get it live again,” the community knows pretty clearly that those 10,000 units will run out of stock in the first couple of minutes.
