Ever since Microsoft announced that backwards compatibility would be coming to the Xbox One back in E3 2015, there have been a lot of questions about the service.

Major Nelson recently took to his blog not only to update the list of games available on Xbox One’s Backwards Compatibility service, but also to address a few backwards compatibility questions that fans might have.

The questions are all fairly simple, and Nelson does his best to explain each one in as detailed of a manner as possible. These questions included how to install a backwards compatibility game on an Xbox One, how to bring up the old Xbox 360 Guide (you have to hit both the View and Menu buttons–those two buttons that are on either side of the “home” button), and how to purchase Xbox 360 games online. And those are just the most pressing questions.

He then goes on to address a number of other frequently asked backwards compatibility questions.

For example: Giving a hint on other games coming to the service (he can’t), that despite rumors, any official games coming to the service will be posted on his blog or the official Xbox site, dates on when a game will be coming, how to get a game they like onto the service, and more.

Basically it’s all very hush-hush up until a game is actually released, but if you really want to know if something’s released you should be following Major Nelson’s blog on WordPress so that you can know when he updates the list.

It actually updated today with games that were added to it through May, which include both Star Wars: The Force Unleashed games, along with a number of other highly popular games before it.

In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait and see what other games Microsoft decides to put on the service. We may even get an announcement about a new brace of games at E3 when it comes this June. Until then, we just have to be patient.
