Ubisoft’s new IP is going to be multiplayer centric with a strong solo mode, according to CFO Alain Martinez. He spoke during a recent investor’s meeting, saying that this new IP will get a full reveal at E3. CEO CEO Yves Guillemot interjected and mentioned the possibility of the game being announced before E3 with a proper reveal and details at E3.

Ubisoft will kick off the preshow at 12:30PM PST June 13th, before the main event commences at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM BST. The June 13 slot previously belonged to EA. We are expecting to see Aisha Taylor, an American Tv host to be back this year as well. Ubisoft is taking over EA’s slot this year because the FIFA publisher is hosting its own show this year.

Ubisoft started teasing this new AAA IP back in February.

The coming weeks would be very exciting for Ubisoft fans. The company is revealing Watch Dogs 2, sharing more about For Honor, a new IP, showing Ghosts Recon Wildlands and much more.

Watch Dogs 2 will support DX12 and its lead character was recently leaked. Aiden Pearce is being replaced by a different character and Ubisoft claims that Watch Dogs 2 will have a “new tone.” But what does Ubisoft meant by it? We’ll know once the game revealed.

Hopefully, it will overcome the shortcomings of its predecessor.
