Pokemon Sun and Moon Starter Pokemon poll was recently held on Twitter by Nintendo America. The poll asked fans which of the three starter Pokemon – Grass- and Flying-type Pokémon Rowlet, Fire-type Litten, and Water-type Popplio, they like the best and will likely play with.
The community voted and casted over 54,000 votes to determine the winner. From the 54,000 votes, 38% went to fire-type Pokemon Litten, 21% votes nominated water-type Pokemon Popplio but with 41% votes grass and flying-type Pokemon Rowlet was chosen as the winner.
Each Pokemon Sun and Moon starter Pokemon has its own set of features and abilities but it looks like fans are most impressed with what Rowlet has to offer; or he is just cute as hell.
Rowlet, like I mentioned above, is a grass and flying-type Pokemon. He is one of three that will be offered to players. Popplio, the water-type Pokemon, is the least liked Pokemon for Pokemon Sun and Moon. But Fans came its aid on Twitter, posting supportive pictures and comments because let’s face it, he is no less cute than Rowlet.
Lots of aspects go in its favor and devs really have been creative with it.
At first, I was #TeamRowlet, but I have to say Popplio is quickly growing on me and I think it could have a lot more potential!
nothing wrong to be on #TeamRowlet and #TeamPopplio at the same time right?
Not at all! Both appeal to me a lot. 🙂 I think Popplio’s evolutions are more likely to surprise everyone, though!
Popplio is an acrobatic Sea Lion Pokémon for Pokemon Sun and Moon trainers. It can create water balloons using its cute little nose and then utilize these balloons in different Pokemon Sun and Moon gameplay scenarios. It can go up to 25mph in water.
Meanwhile, Rowlet can turn its head from front to back 180 degrees to navigate the map while flying. It uses powerful kicks and can attack from afar using powerful leafs that also form parts of its feathers.
Litten is a fire based Pokemon that spits fireballs.
Their evolutions would be interesting to see and will allow fans to make a better and informed decision about which Pokemon to go with.
