One Million Dislikes For Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare On Youtube
Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare was revealed last week, and boy oh boy fans did not take the sci-fi action shooter reveal lightly. Fans of the franchise criticized the developers for not listening and not making any meaningful changes.
The amount of hate the game is receiving is quite visible from the amount of dislikes on the official reveal trailer of Infinite Warfare on Youtube.
I am sure fans would not be surprised that Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare got One Million dislikes for its reveal trailer on Youtube and these dislikes are increasing in amount with every passing minute. Also the reveal trailer has become most disliked gaming video on Youtube.
One Million Dislikes for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in a week? That should be a matter of concern for Activision.
On the other hand, DICE’s Battlefield 1 was revealed almost five days after Call of Duty and already managed to get one million likes; so much for Activision’s positive PR spin on YouTube dislikes. Compared to Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare, Battlefield 1 has been praised by the fans and they are expressing their excitement, as developer DICE gave them what they wanted.
It is clear that fans of first person shooters are fed up of the same rehashed sci-fi shooting, and they are raising their voice for Activision to know that fans want its shooter to be truly different and fresh. But Activision has so far paid no attention to fans but DICE did and made its move against the best selling first person shooter.
From the reaction of the fans we can safely assume that Battlefield 1 has won the hearts of our gaming community. While the only saving grace for Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare is the remaster of Modern Warfare, and quite frankly that is the only reason that Call Of Duty might make some profit.
CEO of Activision managed to give an diplomatic answer to all the hate the game is getting. He said when Black Ops 2 was revealed it was the most disliked reveal at the time, but the game was hugely successful and that Activision has nothing to worry about because their pre-orders are going strong.
What do you think of all the hate and 1 million dislikes? Do you believe that Activision had it coming? Let us know in the comments.
