The upcoming FPS DOOM has a present graphics setting called ‘Ultra Nightmare’ which is a step above Ultra Present, id Software has confirmed.

DOOM Ultra Nightmare quality settings was first confirmed by Lead Project Programmer Billy Khan via his official Twitter feed:

Since Billy did not provide any description regarding DOOM Ultra Nightmare, Lead Renderer Programmer Tiago Sousa stepped up to explain that Ultra Nightmare quality settings were a step above Present Ultra:

While we do not have any official footage or screenshots of the game running on Ultra Nightmare settings, according to Billy Khan, he played the game on the said settings at 4K and GSYNC turned on and it was mesmerizing:
