Watch Dogs 2 is expected to be revealed at E3 2016. Lots of leaks and rumors have already surrounded the project, there are many speculations of what the game would be like after the mediocre release of its predecessor. One of the changes we are expecting to see is axing Aiden Pearce from the sequel.
Aiden was a dull character with no charisma and a very unlikeable personality. Ubisoft won’t share his replacement (that is if he’s replaced) till E3 2016, however, an artist has posted an image showing one of the characters of the game.
It is being speculated that this man is the new lead but we really hope not. Based on his attire, he looks more like a common street crook than Watch Dogs 2 lead character.
The artist doing motion capture for the lead character gave the following caption to image you see above:
Had a blast doing motion capture work as the lead character in a new video game series! (= #actor #motioncapture #artist #videogames #ps4 #xbox #art #work #comingsoon #WatchDogs2
You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and he could very well turn out to be an amazing lead character if what you see above is not a model for a random NPC you shoot in the head.
Watch Dogs 2 is confirmed to be in development already and Ubisoft will reveal more about it at E3. The publisher is hosting a press event next month.
Ubisoft will kick off the preshow at 12:30PM PST June 13th, before the main event commences at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM BST. The June 13 slot previously belonged to EA.
