New Rockstar Trademark Fueling Speculation for Next Game

New Rockstar trademark has fueled speculations about its new game. The trademark was filed under the name "Judas," in-line with the tone of their games.

Rockstar, the developer behind Grand Theft Auto, Bully, Red Dead and many other games has filed a new patent, “Judas.”

The patent was filed for an online computer game but sadly there aren’t any other details available for the time being. The studio is speculated to be working on a new Red Dead game so this new Rockstar trademark may very well be linked to that.

Judas, if you don’t know, was the disciple and eventual betrayer of Jesus. He is a hated Biblical figure and full name was Judas Iscariot. The name is used to describe someone who’s deceptive and tratrious so it fits with the tone of Rockstar games; Grand Theft Auto, LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Revolver etc.

Previously, a map leaked claiming to be from the new Red Dead game and we have also had Linkedin profiles of devs mentioning Red Dead Redemption 2.

E3 2016 is little over a month away now so we should expect Rockstar to show its new game. GTA V released 3 years ago and it is time we get a new Rockstar game.

Which game would you like to see next from Rockstar? Red Dead, Bully 2, or my personal choice – LA Noire 2? Let us know of your choice in the comments below.
