Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or whatever its name would be, is going to release with a remastered copy of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Somehow it seems fans are more excited about COD 4 than playing the next Call of Duty game. We have already confirmed from our sources that Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered will release with Infinite Warfare Legacy edition.
However, a public confirmation from Infinity Ward is yet to happen. Eager fans took to Twitter and one of them said that he would poop his pants if a COD 4 remaster is announced. The official Call of Duty Twitter account took notice of this young man’s dilemma and replied with the following, potentially telling him to be ready to poop his pants.
What’s interesting is that this his Tweet was posted 2 years ago back in 2014 when rumors of a COD 4 remaster started surfacing. The official replying after 2 years is pretty good indication that COD 4 remaster is happening.
Activision usually announces its games around this time of the year so we can expect Infinite Warfare announcement in the next few days. Rumor has it that Activision is planning a reveal for next Tuesday for both Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare remastered.
Modern Warfare was released back in 2007 and is one of the most popular COD games. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered will give new COD players a chance to see what this classic shooter was like before sci-fi themes, cartoonish customizations and jetpacks took over this beloved franchise.
