During the Nexon Developers Conference 2016, Square Enix showed a glimpse of the upcoming mobile MMORPG Final Fantasy XI reboot. The reboot was originally announced last year.
According to Nexon and Square Enix, the FFXI reboot will feature an enhanced battle system which will be faster than before in addition to Skillchains, Job Commands, and several other features from Final Fantasy XI.

In addition to enhanced graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4, the developers are also working on including FFXI’s storyline in the mobile reboot. The reboot will also make it easier for players to play solo and take advantage of a number of features which will complement the gameplay.

Square Enix has also confirmed that the Final Fantasy XI mobile reboot will also include Dynamic Events, Linkshells, and a Guild System for better community interaction.
