Bethesda has made available the promised mods support Fallout 4 creation kit on PC, but right now it is in beta state. The news comes from official Bethesda.net site.
According to the announcement Bethesda`s goal for Fallout 4 was to make mods easier and more accessible for both creators and players.
You can now browse and search for the latest and greatest Mods, choose your favorites, post feedback, and install them – all within the game. Simply select Mods from the main menu, and start browsing.
This means unlike previous Bethesda games players don`t need to go to any other site to browse and install mods on their PC, but they can do so from the game itself. Players simply need to select mods from the main menu and start browsing.
For those who want to create mods, Fallout 4 Creation Kit is a free download and players can also check out the official Wiki page for the Creation Kit, which contains all of the documentations and help files.
To access this Mods in Fallout 4, player need to install 1.5 update in steam beta.
- Log into Steam.
- Right Click on Fallout 4 in your Library.
- Select Properties.
- Select Betas.
- A drop down menu will appear. Select beta.
- Wait a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update.
- When done, Fallout 4 should appear as Fallout 4 [Beta] in your Library.
Also be sure to leave your feedback on game`s frorum so that Bethesda can update and improve mods and creation kits.
Mods will also be made available for for Xbox one and PlayStation 4 versions of the game in JUNE. Bethesda hopes that these mods will change console gaming as it have changed PC gaming.
