GFK Chart-Track has released a new report that shows Dark Souls 3 sales data. Dark Souls 3 PS4 physical version has outsold the Xbox One iteration in United Kingdom.
According to the report, PS4 version sold 3x more than Xbox One. 71% of the game’s sales during the first week were on PlayStation 4 with Xbox One only managing to get 26% of Dark Souls 3 market. Meanwhile on PC, only 3% of physical versions were sold, however, PC gamers prefer buying digital copies.
Official sales numbers are yet to be revealed by Bandai Namco but a SteamDB listing showed 500K digital copies sold in only 4 days on PC.
Dark Souls 3 selling more copies on PS4 isn’t a surprise. PlayStation 4 has a much larger install base than Microsoft Xbox One.
On PC, as usual, Dark Souls 3 has been suffering from performance issues, white screens, crashes and much more. Some of the issues are fixed but many are still affecting Dark Souls 3 so we are waiting for another update.

On a related note, Dark Souls 3 devs cut plenty of content from the final game but we were able to get our hands of some of the content that never made it to the final game. This content includes weapons, armor sets, character customization items and more.
Dark Souls 3 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
