Lando Calrissian, one of the heroes of the Rebel Alliance, will be available to play in the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront Bespin DLC.
The content pack will take place on the gas giant of Bespin, specifically in Cloud City, the mining station that Lando oversaw before Bespin was conquered by the Empire and he joined the Rebel Alliance.
Players that hold the Battlefront Season Pass can expect to see the DLC coming sometime in June. In addition to having Lando as a hero for the Rebels and the bounty hunter Dengar (this guy) for the Empire, players will be able to have four new maps on the planet for a variety of modes, including Walker Assault, Fighter Squadron, and more.
There will also be new weapons, new Star Cards, new Hutt Contracts, and a new game mode. This brings the total number of heroes in the game to ten, with Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Nien Nunb on the Rebels side, and Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Emperor Palpatine, and Greedo on the Empire side.
Something that may interest other players especially is something that the vanilla game was criticized for: the possibility of offline play. EA has also alluded to other “surprises” that they think fans have been looking for.
EA has also announced that on May 4, Star Wars Day, the game will have something special for all of the Star Wars fans out there that have bought the game. While the events for that day are still in the planning stages, it’ll hopefully be good.
The Star Wars Battlefront Bespin DLC will be releasing in June. Players that hold the Season Pass will be able to get access to it two weeks early, and be able to play on four new maps on Bespin with Lando Calrissian and Dengar.
