Sherlock Holmes The Devil’s Daughter Gameplay Trailer Released

Sherlock Holmes The Devil’s Daughter gameplay  trailer is out. The video above showcases some of the gameplay mechanics, its setting and attention to detail.

The trailer starts with Sherlock Holmes looking for clues for a new case. In the previous games, we could only concentrate on the character, but this time we can scan the environment as well.

Looking at the clue finding, it looks like you have to decide for yourself what the particular thing or clue means, unlike the last game where the game concluded itself for you.

Then the trailer jumps to Sherlock at home with Watson, and a lady visits them with a sick child, no particular game mechanic displayed there.

After that, the trailer jumps to the streets of London where we go to a place which looks like a bar.

This time around they have introduced eavesdropping, which was absent from previous game. By standing or sitting at a particular place. similar to early Assassin’s Creed games, we can focus on the people around us and listen to their conversations or can scan them for clues.

As always the attention to detail in the game is amazing, something developer Frogwares has never compromised on.

Moreover, voice actors for Sherlock and Watson have changed while the character model for Watson has been completely replaced.

Though it is not clear, narrative wise, that the game will have one continuous story spanning multiple chapters, or it would be like the last game where you solve different mysteries, but non connected to others. Either way I am really excited for this game and ready to explore what this game has to offer.
