HTC VIVE Delay Was Due to “Multiple Issues”

HTC gives an update to its consumers on HTC Vive delay, the VR headset shipment faced multiple issues that the company is working hard to sort out, according to HTC Rep.

We understand that multiple issues have arisen in the past two days and we are working hard to resolve them as quickly and efficiently as possible, a representative of the Vive team wrote. We appreciate your patience as we identify these issues and work to solve them

HTC said they are trying to reach the consumers who had their orders cancelled by order processing issues.Those who successfully ordered their VR headsets shouldn’t worry as their HTC VIVE will be shipped to them in a month, as noted to them in their order confirmation E-mail.

HTC admitted that some of the orders, specifically orders from the month of April, were processed out of sequence and they have corrected  the situation. They also said that in the future the headset will be shipped in the sequence they received the orders.

They still didn’t gave an explanation of why they needed remote access for our desktops to reprocess our orders. But we have to admit that HTC Support has been very helpful throughout this issue.
