Rocket League Collector’s Edition is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in June. The retail release in Europe is set for June 24 while North Americans will get to play it on July 5.
This special new edition comes with base game along with new cars and all the content found in the Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run DLC packs.
Rocket League is one of those games you just can’t stop playing, the title already has over 10 million unique players. It also has its own eSports League which is a huge milestone for any game.
For its eSports League, Twitch partnered with Phoenix to host the inaugural Rocket League Championship Series. Registrations open late last month for teams of three.
Players can play Rocket League on both PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. The grand prize for the winner is $75,000. All matches are streamed on Twitch, hence, the partnership.
Rocket League has a huge fan-base and popularity among online community. We can see this title growing in the eSports scene and next tournaments may feature even bigger prize pots.
