If you’ve already gotten bored of Call of Duty Black Ops 3’s first DLC, “Awakening,” don’t worry. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC 2 (Electric Boogaloo) will be announced by Treyarch and Activision on Thursday, March 31.
Activision has already made a lot of Call of Duty fans happy since they made Nuk3town, a formerly pre-order exclusive map, available for all players last week. That, timed with Black Ops 3 DLC 2 (the Revenge) will give them even more goodwill from the Call of Duty fanbase.
We can most likely expect the requisite items of Call of Duty DLC: A few new maps, possibly a few new weapons, and most likely a new map for the series’s zombie game mode according to Call of Duty news site Charlie Intel, which got a quick look at a leaked screenshot of the map before it was pulled down.
Treyarch will celebrate the announcement with a livestream of the new content on March 31, and we’ll most likely get more information about the DLC pack there.
Awakening already gave us a lot of different maps and weapons for the game, ranging from the multi-terrain Gauntlet map to the Skyjacked map, which takes place aboard a floating police aircraft carrier flying over a city. We’ll just have to see what this new DLC brings.
