Now we know that the game really is coming and so here we are to tell you everything you need to know about it.
First off, there is debate over whether the games are going to be released to Nintendo NX or not. While that is still an open ended question, what we can tell you is that Nintendo will definitely release these on Nintendo 3DS as they have confirmed it themselves.
We are not sure about the Wii U but it looks like Nintendo NX could take that place later down the line.
Moving on, since Nintendo itself has revealed news about the PokeBank, we can say with utmost certainty that Pokemon Sun and Moon will integrate with the new service.
This means you will be able to play with Pokemon captured in Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow inside Sun and Moon.
As far as languages are concerned, the games are going to support English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Koreans, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese. You can use that to figure out which regions have a confirmed localization.
On to the release date now; although neither Nintendo nor The Pokemon Company has said anything on that front, we know that the games are going to be released in Holiday 2016.
However, we have seen Nintendo staying pretty silent on details about the games – they only confirmed that they are in development and shared the logos (see above) – and parallel to this they are also holding 2016 to be the Year of Pokémon Celebration for the franchise’s 20th anniversary. This makes us speculate that may be they would want to end the year with bang by releasing the games late in the calendar.
