PS4 Update 3.50 Enters Beta 3, Spare 300MB in Your HDD
PS4 Update 3.50 beta testing has entered its third phase. Sony is testing waters and gathering feedback from users to finalize update 3.50. The update is only available to preview members who opted-in to test upcoming firmware updates.
Beta 3 comes via an update that is little over 300MB in size. Previously, some new features of the beta leaked online revealed some PlayStation VR related changes.
It came to our attention that PlayStation VR isn’t safe for children under the age of 12.
“The VR Headset is not for use by children under age 12.”

On a related note, Sony and Microsoft may collaborate to implement cross-platform play between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Microsoft has already taken steps to ensure this is possible and says it is up to the developer to implement this feature in their games.
Sony did respond and said they are happy to communicate with Microsoft over cross-platform play. However, its answer wasn’t that clear.
Sony is focused on PlayStation VR right now so it may take some time for both companies to come to terms with cross platform play on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Sony has been doing cross platform play between its PlayStation systems and allowed this feature between PS4 and PC. Microsoft only recently started it as well with Xbox and PC.
