Remember Assassin’s Creed Unity and its no face bug? It was less funny and more creepy, it was enough to give players nightmares of faceless monsters, Templar monsters.
Now, it looks like the bug is back once again but in a different Ubisoft game. We are talking about the recently released, The Division. It is a completely different game but from the same developer, released with the same bug.
Ubisoft clearly has something against rendering faces in its games.
No Face Bug Returns for The Division
The Division is in much better shape than Unity was on release, so I guess we can ignore this minor problem. It is pretty funny though, seeing the same bug appear in a different Ubisoft game. It wouldn’t been less surprising to see in the next Assassin’s Creed.
The Division is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It also has a day-one patch ready to go but it looks like it doesn’t include a fix for the no face bug.
Of course, Ubisoft will release a fix for it, that is if this isn’t there intentionally. May be Ubisoft is joking around about the Unity fiasco? Possibly.
Pick up The Division and see if you come around the notorious no face bug. If you do, please share your screenshots with us in the comments below.
On a related note, The Division level-cap takes only 15 hours to reach. As you know, the level-cap is set to 30, afterwards we are on the mercy of end game content – Dark Zone, Challenges, missions.
Ubisoft did previously say it will release post-launch updates to provide more content to The Division players. There would be balance between free and paid content.
