Sony is beefing up its UK PR team by adding ex Nintendo PR Boss Jo Bartlett. She will now be the director of communications at PlayStation UK and will handle upcoming releases like Uncharted 4, COD 2016 and more.
My career in the games industry began working on the PlayStation account from an agency perspective, and I still count that time as the most challenging and rewarding to date, Bartlett tells MCV.
With 2016 looking set to be another exciting chapter in the history of PlayStation, I’m extremely proud and happy to be joining the talented in-house team, and look forward to building on their incredible innovation and success.
Meanwhile, Richard Keen is now appointed as the marketing director for UK and Ireland. Keen joined PlayStation UK back in 2013 and has also worked with IGN parent Ziff Davis.
He is replacing Murray Pannell, who left to join 2K Europe as VP of publishing.
I am thrilled to be given an opportunity to step up into the marketing director role at such an exciting time for the business, said Keen.
With PSVR launch on the horizon, the strongest first party line-up since PS4 launched and our third party exclusives better than ever, the team here are in a fantastic position to make 2016 the most successful year in PlayStation history
We wish both of them luck with their new roles.
