Activision is Skipping E3, Sony Will Show Call of Duty 2016

Activision won’t be present at E3 this year but not to worry, its partner Sony is going to reveal Call of Duty 2016 from Ghosts developer Infinity Ward.

Last year, we came to know of a partnership between Sony and Activision. It was a similar deal this publisher had with Microsoft, it gives Sony timed exclusively of post-release content among other perks. Activision won’t have a booth at E3 but Sony will, and players will get to see Call of Duty 2016 at Sony’s E3 booth.

In June, we’re going to be at E3 showcasing gameplay from Infinity Ward’s ambitious new game. We’re looking forward to sharing exciting new details about the next great Call of Duty game in partnership with our friends at PlayStation. We’re proud to be participating in this premier video game event, but won’t have an Activision booth on the show floor.

All things COD are going to be discussed now by Sony at E3.

It is rumored that the next Call of Duty is Ghosts 2. A recent “leak” mentioned COD Ghosts 2 for 2016 but it was nothing but an opinion piece of magazine that was being wrongly presented.

However, that one piece of news may not be correct but we do think Ghosts 2 could be the one to release this year. Although I personally prefer going back to World War, it is unlikely we’ll be leaving the modern era. Speaking of modern, Modern Warfare 4 is prefered by many over Ghosts 2.

The original game left a bitter taste so Modern Warfare 4 is something that can redeem Infinity Ward, bring it back in-line with Treyarch and Sledgehammer.

We’ll know everything about COD at E3 this June.

Would you like to see Ghosts 2 or Modern Warfare 4 in 2016?
