We know that Nintendo is going to hold a special Pokemon Direct video presentation in order to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the ever popular game series tomorrow. However, they have not officially revealed their agenda yet. Despite that, we are picking up verystrong indications that they will be announcing Pokemon Sun and Moon through the presentation.
This is based on speculation, rumor and unconfirmed news, but the evidences are stronger than ever for us to ignore them.
Firstly, new trademarks filed by Nintendo surfaced online recently for the games through the European Union trademarks office, OHIM which is something we can not take lightly.
However, that is not all. We have also picked up word that Nintendo has secured not one or two but three domains related to Pokemon Sun and Moon. They have got the rights to Pokemon-sun.com, Pokemon-moon.com, and Pokemon-sunmoon.com.
If you open up any of these, they redirect you to the official website of Pokemon series – but we are all but sure that will change very soon.
Just to clear up some confusion, some news had come out recently that Nintendo of America had actually confirmed the games through their Twitter profile, but that is not true. The websites which have covered the story failed to recognize that the Twitter account they were referring to was a fake with a handle reading NinlendoOfAmerica.
No matter what the truth is, we are going to find out tomorrow, and if Pokemon Sun and Moon are legitimate, we will be writing about it, so keep an eye out!
