This guide details tips on playing as and against Necalli along with some basic combos and juggles listed to help you out!

How to Play as Necalli

Thanks to the fact that Necalli in Street Fighter V has the most number of attacks that can build V-Gauge, your entire strategy needs to revolve around using it.

You need to utilize all these attacks in order to build up V-Gauge as early as possible and charge with his Torrent of Power V-Trigger.

You not only need to focus on your close ranged offense, but also utilize your V-Skill as much as possible in order to engage your opponent from both and mid-range and long-range so that you are able to replenish your meter quickly.

It goes without saying, but your Culminated Power also allows you to acquire meter even when you are guarding which is a huge bonus.

Last but not the least; do note that almost off of your land heavy attacks provide you with a Crush Counter upon counter-hits which also add greatly to your V-Gauge.

You need to bear these things in mind and revolve your game in building and utilizing V-Gauge to pin down your opponent.

How to Play against Necalli

While playing against Necalli, you need to understand that he struggles against characters with a strong mid-range game and cross-over jumps. He shines at frame traps and close-range which is where you need to be extra careful!

If there is room, you can eat his LP/MP Mask of Tlalli , but always escape Valiant Rebellion frame traps. He can cancel MK into LK Valiant Rebellion which can be avoided by simply backing off.

When playing as Ryu or Ken, you need to be extra careful with Hadoken as he will be able to catch you with his ‘f + MP + MK’.

Another thing that you need to beware of is his Torrent of Power V-Trigger which completely transforms him into a new character.

With hard-hitting combos and more cancelling options, you need to force him into using his V-Reversal and avoid invulnerable Raging Light before going in with a Crush Counter combo.
