Back in December, datamined filed for the game had hinted at the possibility of SMITE PS4 version, and now it looks like those rumors were actually legitimate leaks.
Hi-Rez Studios’ third person MOBA just got rated by Pan-European Game Indicator (PEGI). Not only that, the game rating also suggests that the publishers are going to release the game on Sony’s latest console very silently today!
While we already know what the content of the game is like, here’s what PEGI has to say about it:
The content of this game is suitable for persons aged 12 and over only. It contains non realistic looking violence towards human characters.
As far as the release date is concerned, the rating reveals that Hi-Rez Studios will launch the SMITE PS4 version on February 18, 2016 i.e. today.
However, one thing that is different between the Xbox One and PC rating of the game and the PS4 rating of the game is that the former had a line reading “this game allows the player to interact with other players ONLINE,” while the latter doesn’t.
This would make no sense actually because SMITE is a MOBA. Nonetheless, it might just be a posting error.
In case you don’t know much about the game, here’s a cinematic trailer that will tell you what to expect from SMITE PS4 version.
