With The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD coming to Wii U the game is going to be making use of the updated console functions. In a new video we get a look at what the Wii U brings to the game.
In the video we see the new updated version of the Zelda game, which will make use of the Wii U GamePad. This includes the fact that the game can be played on the controller itself, as well as it being used for inventory management and map display.
As well as providing the ability to use the controller to play the game, you’ll also be able to use Miiverse stamps to communicate with other players. For people who want more of a challenge, there will also be the Hero Mode.
In the video they reveal this to be a “mirror world” in which the challenge is higher. The damage taken by Link will be doubled and there will be no hearts dropped. While it won’t be as much of a challenge as Dark Souls, for fans of The Legend of Zelda, it will still be an interesting edge to a game they probably know well at this point.
As we previously revealed too was the Wolf Link Amiibo which unlocks a new dungeon, the Cave of Shadows. This features wave based battles against the Shadow Beasts of the Twilight Realm. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is coming March 4, so not long to wait now.
