Up until now the Fallout 4 Season Pass has been somewhat of a mystery. Today we have all of the details of what is to come, as well as a price increase for those who wait until after March 1 to buy it.
Bethesda has today revealed that there will be three pieces of DLC coming over the next few months. These will be included as part of the Fallout 4 Season Pass. The first two DLC will be Automatron and Wasteland Workshop both costing $9.99 USD/£7.99 GBP. The third piece will be Far Harbor which will be a bigger chunk of story, priced at $24.99 USD/£19.99 GBP.
This DLC will be coming in March and will introduce the Mechanist, who is launching a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the Robobrain. You’ll be able to hunt down and harvest them for robot parts to mod your own custom robot companions. Customisations will be added which include paint schemes and the ability to choose robot voices.
Wasteland Workship is released in April and will give you the ability to create and set cages to capture live creatures (including humans). You’ll be able to then tame these creatures and then put them into battle against each other (or your settlers). There will also be extra design options for your settlements which includes nixie tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more.
This is the biggest of the three DLC and will add a new case to Valentine’s Detective Agency. This case leads you out on a search for a young woman and a mysterious colony of synths on an island off the coast of Maine known as Far Harbor. This land is said to be more feral due to the higher levels of radiation on the island. The story will feature a conflict between the synths, the Children of the Atom and local towns people.
With even more DLC to come in 2016, Bethesda also revealed that the Fallout 4 Season Pass will be having a price increase for those who haven’t purchased it already. Currently at $29.99 it will be going up to $49.99 (£24.99 to £39.99 GBP). Anybody who buys the Season Pass before March 1 though will pay the original price.
