The Elder Scrolls Modding Project “Skywind” Gets Trailer and Progress Update

Skywind devs have released a new trailer called “Envision” and have shared its progress details. The trailer itself is proof of how far this modding project has come in the past years.

The video shows ““a tiny fraction” of what they have been working on, “and is just a taste of what is to come.” Currently, devs are working on the West Gash, and are finishing up on blighted wasteland.

For those who don’t know, Skywind is a mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that is looking to bring Morrowind to the game. The project has been in development for three years and although it looks like it is coming together nicely, we can’t say for sure when or if it will ever be playable.

The good news is that devs are committed and continue to work on the project. Seeing Morrowind redone in Skyrim is exciting for long time fans of the series. Morrowind is one of the most loved and important entries.

Skywind was in alpha and it was available to download but devs pulled it. They say want to keep the project internal but may bring it back further down the road.

We can only hope that this project makes it and bring Morrowind back with shiny new graphics and details.
