Hideo Kojima is probably the most popular name these days in our community – decidedly more popular that mark Zuckerberg according to one survey – which is why we always want to listen to what he has to say. Kojima and his good friend Guillermo del Toro are coming together at DICE Summit 2016 to do just that.
Kojima-san himself has confirmed that he is very much interested in developing a game alongside del Toro, and with the amount of time these two are spending together we are almost certain we will get one – Silent Hills or not.
While we are not sure if they will discuss their future projects at DICE Summit 2016 or not, the duo are going too hold session together where they will be discussing their creative vision alongside Geoff Keighley.
In a session titled “A Conversation with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro,” these master storytellers will offer insight into their creative vision and the driving forces behind their artistic pursuits. Moderated by longtime video game host and producer Geoff Keighley, this conversation will revisit some of their fondest memories from their own individual careers as well as some of the pivotal moments from each other’s work that remain a constant source of inspiration.
Hideo Kojima and del Toro working together has been the most exciting thing for us ever since Silent Hills was announced but so far no game project has been announced by the duo although they have been seen together tons of times.
What would be the ideal (and practically possible) project that you would want the two to develop together? tell us in the comments section below.
