Tekken Tag Tournament II Confirmed to be Xbox One Backwards Compatible
According to a leaked image, Tekken Tag Tournament II by Bandai Namco will be one of the Xbox One backwards compatible games.
Although Microsoft has yet to announce Xbox One backwards compatible games for the current month, a leaked image shared on Reddit confirms that Tekken Tag Tournament II will be one of them. The said image is of Xbox One Achievements list and shows Tekken Tag Tournament II between Fable: Legends closed beta and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.
The original uploader of the image has also stated that several people have confirmed being able to download and play the game on their Xbox One so it is only a matter of time until we get an official announcement:
I was looking through my Achievements out of boredom when I noticed this. Seems that Tekken Tag 2 will be coming to Backwards Compatibility as the boxart has been resized similar to other BC games.
Update: Several people have told me they have managed to download it and play so yes, it’s official guys 🙂
Tekken Tag Tournament II is 8th main installment in Tekken series and was released back in September 2011 on Arcades and later on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii U. It features one of the largest character rosters in the franchise and gives players the ability to control one or two characters at the same time.
