Rise of the Tomb Raider Baba Yaga DLC Release Date Revealed
Rise of the Tomb Raider’s first slice of story-driven downloadable content, Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch release date has been revealed. Only days before the release of the game on the PC will it appear on that gaming platform too?
Gaming news website Polygon are reporting the release date for the DLC as January 26, with the PC version of the main game coming January 27. With the release of the DLC information it is a shame that there is no confirmation as to if the PC will get it too, but we can be sure that this will be cleared up soon.
Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch takes Lara Croft into a strange new tomb where she encounters new enemies and yet more puzzles. With her senses confused by some kind of potent hallucinogen it appears to Lara (and the person playing as her) that she is under attack from supernatural forces.
Promising hours of additional gameplay the DLC is included in the Season Pass which costs $29.99. The first piece of content for the Pass was the Endurance Mode which added survival problems such as controlling Lara’s warms and resources to the game to see how long Lara can survive in the wilderness. The new DLC after Baba Yaga will be Cold Darkness Awakened which will be coming later in the year.
With the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC, it seems fair to assume that the DLC should be released on that version too. While it may be coming, the question will be when. I’m sure that gamers will be hoping the release date will be revealed soon.
