Microsoft Adding New Features to Xbox One Preview and Beta App

Well, it looks like some new features are being added to Xbox One preview and beta app. Microsoft shared some details with us, letting us know what to expect.

Firstly, Microsoft is adding a feature that will allow users to see who’s in a party before joining. “Click the ‘Chat’ button which appears immediately below the user to jump in and see who is in the Party.”

Go to ‘View Achievements’ via the Achievements section to check out your revised gamerscore. You can now “see where you stand relative to your friends by comparing total gamerscore, as well as biggest gains over a rolling 30-day period. Click on the Gamerscore Leaderboard to see the full list of all your friends.”

Moreover, you can now rearrange pins on your Xbox One homescreen. The feature is being added after fans asked developers to make it easier to organize pins.

Your activity feed is getting updated as well, you will now be notified when there is something new to look at in your feed.

Joinable Twitch Broadcasts: You want it to be easier to watch your friend’s game broadcasts. In Preview, Game Hubs as well as the game tile will allow you to easily launch broadcasts if friends are broadcasting.

New update will also see improvements to friends suggestions, and Microsoft re-enabling a feature that will let users hide betas, trials, games, and apps that they no longer want to install.

Avatar Store is being integrated, users can find it “built right into the Xbox Avatars app and on Windows 10 PCs and phones, access the Store through the Xbox Avatars app.” You can preview the items you choose to customize your avatars.

Xbox News posts are being added to activity feed, improvements are made to Trending and lastly, we have some improvements to Xbox One Preview and Xbox Beta app. Users can get details related to your suggested friends if you click on “Sell All.”
