Rise of the Tomb Raider PC Graphics: PureHair, Textures, Shadows and More
Rise of the Tomb Raider might not have done as good on the Xbox One as it was originally expected to, although it has now been reported that the game has managed to sell a million copies now. However, the PC version of Lara Croft’s latest is bound to be released this month, so Crystal Dynamics are moving on to that.
Some new details have been revealed for the PC graphics settings that the game is bringing you. A screenshot of the menu was released that lists down a number of options that you will get to choose from.
Firstly, the game has moved on from TessFX, the hair, fur, and grass rendering technology that the previous game used and gone with PureHair technology which is an advanced option that games like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided are also using.
Other graphics options outlined for Rise of the Tomb Raider PC version include Depth of Field, Dynamic Foliage, Textures, Shadows, Ambient Occlusion and Level of Detail adjustments.
It has also been revealed previously that on the backend a new, unreleased technology is also going to be used in Rise of The Tomb Raider.
In case you are wondering what it is going to take for you to run the game properly on your system, there is nothing too demanding to be worried about. The recently released system specifications suggest a normal ranged PC should be able to play the game perfectly.
