Microsoft Confirms ReCore Arriving in Second Half of 2016

By   /   Jan 6, 2016

The mesmerizing Xbox One and PC exclusive ReCore was first shown during E3 2015, with a CGI presentation that didn’t share much. Since then, we’ve come to know a fair bit about the game, including the fact that its lead writer is Destiny and Halo’s famed Joseph Staten.

The game looks to be one of the most unique Microsoft titles for the Xbox One and PC coming this year. According to Microsoft though, it’s not a game you should expect to be released in the first half of 2016.

Speaking to Engadget, a Microsoft representative stated:

“We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore, however the game will be ready in the latter half of 2016.”

The game was originally intended for a Spring 2016 / Q2 release, but with this statement now, it is pretty much confirmed that we’ll have to wait at least six months before ReCore sees its release on shelves.

Originally, ReCore was widely being suggested as an Xbox One exclusive game. However, in light of demands, it seems Microsoft took a turn, and there is strong suggestion that alongside several other titles, the title will also be coming to PC alongside its debut on the Xbox One.
