Final Fantasy XV to be Shown in March, with Release Date Also Revealed
One of the most anticipated games for 2016 has to be Final Fantasy XV, though we still don’t have a release date. It looks like this may change in March.
In the latest Famitsu magazine, Hajime Tabata has revealed that that the beta versions of the game are now stable, and it heading towards the debug phase:
“This year is the year we’ll release Final Fantasy XV. Currently, we’ve decided on all of its specifications and the beta version is under production so we can shift into the debug phase,” Tabata told Famitsu. “We’ll show the real XV during the release date announcement this March.”
As with the Last Guardian news that was sourced from the same article it is what is teased that is the most interesting. The fact that we’ll not only get a look at the full game, but also have a release date announcement is very good news for fans anticipating the release of the game.
With the release of the Final Fantasy VII remake also coming this is a good time to be a Final Fantasy fan, with a lot to look forward to. Now just to hope that both of these games deliver what the fans expect.
We can be sure to be hearing much more about Final Fantasy XV on the run-up to March, and if the release date is revealed, obviously we’ll hear even more to build up the hype for the release. With this hint for a March reveal though, it looks like we’ll finally have an idea as to when the game will finally be released.
