If you ever played Just Cause 2 on PC, chances are you know a bit about the popular multiplayer mode JC2-MP. The team behind the multiplayer mod for the game is yet again busy on making a similar version for this year’s Just Cause 3.
The mode is still in development, but a new trailer confirms its existence, and shows off the progress that’s been made so far.
The original JC2-MP mod release years after the game’s release, but due to its popularity, publisher Square Enix has given the green signal to the developers for the JC3-MP a lot quicker.
Despite the high acclaim of the mod, developer Avalanche Studio confirmed last year that Just Cause 3 would still remain a single-player experience initially.
Thankfully, mod support and some awesome modders is all that it takes to create a fascinating multiplayer experience.
An officially developed multiplayer experience for the open-world adventure game remains unannounced, but if the mod manages to follow the footsteps of its predecessor, it’s a sure guarantee that Just Cause 3 fans won’t be longing for any official version.
Check out the official JC-MP website for more details about the mod. And hey, don’t forget to watch and enjoy the trailer!
