As we reported yesterday, a new patch has been released for Bloodborne today that brings some interesting changes to the game. One of these includes how Blood Rocks work in the game, but as always it comes at a cost.
The update, patch 1.9 was revealed here and includes:
Major content for update 1.09:
Changes to weapons
The strength and stamina cost for several weapons has been adjusted.
Changes to Insight Shop
・In order to trade for the Blood stone Chuck, the necessary amount of Insight has been changed from 30 to 20.
・Trading for the Blood Rock is now possible. 60 pieces of Insight are required.
※ A certain portion of the main game must been cleared in order to access the above.
Several other fixes and adjustments have been made.
The most interesting thing that this update brings is the ability to buy Blood Stones from the Insight Store, with each costing 60 Insight. Players will be aware that this will be quite expensive. You also need to reach a part of the game (which his not specified) before Insight becomes available, making it even harder to achieve. As you can see in the update notes above, there has been a change in Blood Stone Chunk cost from 30 to 20 to try to make this slightly easier.
With a game like Bloodborne you aren’t going to be given much chance to obtain anything the easy way. This is something that fans of the game expect, and would not want it any other way.
