ARK Survival Evolved has been a pretty popular game among the PC community for a while, but the developers have also promised PS4 and Xbox One releases of the game. While the PS4 version is not to be seen anywhere yet, an Xbox One Game Preview build has gone up for sale about an hour ago.
This means you can get your hands on the game from the Xbox Store right away!
However, do keep in mind that what we are looking at right now is a work in progress and not a finished product. IT might have glitches, bugs and whatnot, as the developers have explained in the game’s Xbox Store listing:
This game is a work in progress. It may or may not change over time and may not release as a final product. Please purchase only if you are comfortable with the current state of the unfinished game.
In case you still go on to download the Xbox One Game Preview version of ARK Survival Evolved, you should also help out the developers by providing feedback here.
That being said, it is going to cost you exactly $34.99 for the 24.94 GB game, and if you are not willing to pay for an unfinished game without knowing how far they have come, you still can get your hands on a free trial version right from the Xbox Store link provided above.
One of the key features that is being added to the Xbox One version of the game was two player local split screen which Jesse Rapczak, the founder of developer Studio Wildcard, has confirmed recently:
Many developers are abandoning split-screen local play, but we couldn’t stomach that for Ark! Friends and families can look forward to working together to survive the environment, tame its inhabitants and unravel the mysteries of the island–all from the same couch.
With the rich survival elements mashed up with the action adventure genre, ARK Survival Evolved is really going to be a good pick. Check back later for more on this.
