Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, the latest entry in the skateboarding title running the name of one of the best pro skaters there are, was a big mess when it released back in October this year. The last generation versions of the game were also held back.
Now, it appears that the developers are done working on them, which is why the game’s PS3 version has now been listed for release on the official PlayStation US blog.
While showing off all the games that are coming our way for tomorrow through “The Drop,” Sony Computer Entertainment’s Social Media Specialist, Ryan Clements also included Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 in the list.
“Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 offers a fresh take on combo-driven skateboarding. Ride, build, & repeat,” reads the blog post where it has also been confirmed that the game will be released physically through retail as well as digitally.
Since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game were not up to the mark, we are seriously hoping that the developers have done enough hard work to make the PS3 version worthy of playing to the standards of the last generation.
That being said, both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game were delayed on purpose by the developer Robomodo some time ago, and now that the PS3 version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is being released tomorrow, it should also mean that the Xbox 360 version will also get a silent release.
As far as the buggy builds of the game are concerned, Robomodo has also announced free content to make up for the troubles caused by them. You can read up all about this right here.
Are you going to pick up Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 for the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360? Also, do you think that the developers deserve a chance to make things better for the fans of the game now?
