While nothing beats buying your favorite titles and the must have bundle you always wanted; once you are done with Black Friday 2015, it is a good time to check out what went down and how in terms of sales results and statistics.
Thanks to InfoScout, we now have our hands on the lists of top selling videogames as well as the ratio in which hardware sales were divided among the three latest generation consoles i.e. Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U.
So firstly, the data reveals that PS4 was the most selling console although Xbox One was almost neck-to-neck with it. 42 percent of console sales were attributed to Sony’s latest while the Xbox One sold 41 percent. Wii U came in third to round up the remaining 17 percent.
That being said, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 was the most popular game with 9.8 percent share of all videgame sales on Black Friday 2015 beating Madden NFL 16 at 6.7 percent, NBA 2K16 at 4.9 percent, Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Starter Pack at 4.3 percent, and Just dance 2016 at 3.4 percent.
The top five were followed by FIFA 16, Minecraft, Fallout 4, AC Syndicate, Guitar Hero Live, Lego Dimensions Starter Pack, Super Mario Maker, Star Wars Battlefront and others – in that order.
Last but not the least, in the gaming industry it was primarily games that drove most sales on Black Friday 2015 (44.2 percent) followed by console bundles (37.1 percent).
