Games for Xbox One Are Top Priority in 2016, Says Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra

Microsoft is focused on providing the best content it can for its gamers on Xbox One. 2015 was a decent year for Xbox One, many exclusives were released. We had Forza 6, Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider etc.

Microsoft wants to carry this momentum forward into 2016. The company says that is focused on games and see them as its top priority for the coming year. Mike Ybarra, the director of programming for the Xbox Division, explained that they are “all gamers” and he would be “would be encouraging us as an organization to focus on games.”

Games are why we are all buying these consoles to play and so you go t to have a great lineup. This holiday I think Phil has done a great job. It’s in my opinion the best holiday lineup we’ve had in Xbox One [history]. I really feel like we have to continue to focus on creating great content and great games.

Next year we can possibly get our hands on Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, Gears of War 4, Scalebound (if there aren’t any delays and release dates for some are confirmed). 2016 is shaping up to be a great year for Microsoft but unlike this year, Sony will surely come out guns blazing in 2016.

In the battle of Sony Vs Microsoft, the winners are us gamers.
