MGS 5 The Phantom Pain Gets New FOB Missions; Single Player Content Ignored

If you have been playing the Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain multiplayer and liking it, you will be glad to hear that two new FOB events namely The New World Order and FOB Infiltration Challenge Event have been launched for the running week.

The FOB Infiltration Challenge Event is, in so many words, a GMP bucket. What you are supposed to do is earn as many Espionage Points as possible until December 1 – starting now. The more Espionage Points you get, the more GMP will you be awarded with.

You are looking at 1,000,000, 1,500,000, 2,000,000 and 3,000,000 GMP for 100, 500, 1000 and 1000 Espionage points respectively in your loved Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain.

In the second event, The New World Order, you are too penetrate an FOB base with seven platform types. Manage to infiltrate first and seventh and you get S+ staff; infiltrate the rest too get A++ staff.

Of course the fans want some more content for the game’s single player component, not only because they want to play more but because the game’s inconsistent story needs to bridge the gaps and mend the tails in order for the whole of it to come out pretty.

However, Konami doesn’t agree with that. We are not sure when and if Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain will get any new single player content, but for now it is the FOB events that you will have to make do with.
