Rumor: Say You Like Star Wars Battlefront and Get Paid

Star Wars Battlefront is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is a decent enough game but many feel that it doesn’t do justice to the franchise and its lack of content is outright atrocious.

However, if you are a celebrity or many people follow you on social media channels, you can make some cash by hiding how you truly feel about Star Wars Battlefront and posting a positive review.

According to Benjamin Jackson Burnley, an American musician, composer, and producer, best known as the founder and frontman of the American rock band Breaking Benjamin, EA tried to pay him for a positive review of Star Wars Battlefront.

We don’t know how true this is but here’s what Burnley had to say:

They wanted to pay me to post that I like this piece of shit game .. They can shove it up their ass this game sucks I’d rather watch the god awful prequels then play this piece of shit one more second that’s for ruining Star Wars EA.

EA is yet to comment on this and they will most likely deny it. No matter how we feel about EA and their business practices we can’t blindly start bashing them without definitive proof. Until we do have it, we’ll just file this under rumor.
