Next year, Infinity Ward will bring us their new Call of Duty game. Last title they worked on was Call of Duty: Ghosts, which received mixed reactions from fans.
Compared to Ghosts, 2014’s Advanced Warfare did really well and got decent feedback from players around the world. The game was developed by Sledgehammer and they too are working on their next Call of Duty title as we speak.
While Infinity Ward is yet to talk about its 2016 installment into this long running franchise, Sledgehammer looks eager to start sharing how excited they are for their turn in 2017.
Probably Advanced Warfare 2 is under development right now at Sledgehammer and according to Glen Schofield, he is “stoked” about the game. Moreover, he said that they have listened to fans, meaning their Call of Duty is being built around fan-feedback from Advanced Warfare.
Can't talk about the game but we listened and I am so f*%#=ing stoked about this one.

No details are available about the project and don’t expect to see any until early 2017. However, it would be interesting to see how Infinity Ward comes back from Ghosts next year.
